1. Witness: at baptism of Robert Gordon, grandson, 17 April 1709, Marnoch parish, Banffshire, Scotland. ³ A Robert Biset of Lessendrum was a witness at the baptism of Robert Gordon, son of Peter Gordon of Ardmely, in Marnoch parish on 17 April 1709.

Robert married Agnes ABERCROMBY, daughter of Sir Alexander ABERCROMBY MP, Baronet of Birkenbog and Jane SUTHERLAND.¹ (Agnes ABERCROMBY was born about 1669.)

Regarding him there is the following retour : -

'April 16, 1693. Robert Bisset of Lessendrum to his father, Alexander Bisset of Lessendrum, in the lands and davach of Lessendrum, comprehending the town and dominical lands of Lessendrum, &c.,' much in the same terms as in the former one quoted.

He was born in 1651 ; married, 1681, Agnes Abercromby, daughter of Abercromby of Birkenbog, and had issue"
