The 1851 UK census for Edinburgh Greenside in Midlothian recorded Thomas Selcraig as head of a household living at 2 Simpson Court. With him lived his wife, Agnes and seven children of theirs. Agnes Selcraig had been born in Leith, Midlothian, and was recorded as 38 years old.


Agnes married Thomas SELCRAIG on 31 July 1832 in Saint Cuthbert's Parish, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (Thomas SELCRAIG was born about 1802 in Largo, Fife, Scotland.)
