Anna married Patrick LYON 9th Lord Glamis, Earl of Kinghorne, son of John LYON 8th Lord Glamis, Lord High Chancellor of Scotland and Elizabeth ABERNETHY, in June 1595 in Linlithgow parish, West Lothian, Scotland.1 2 (Patrick LYON 9th Lord Glamis, Earl of Kinghorne was born about 1576 2 and died on 19 December 1615 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Anna ('fayre Mistris Ann Murrey, the Kinges mistris'), married, 1595 at Linlithgow, to Patrick, Lord Glamis, afterwards first Earl of Kinghorn. She died at Edinburgh 27 February 1618, testament confirmed 30 November same year, having survived her husband."

"He (Patrick Lyon) married, at Linlithgow, in June 1595, Anne Murray, daughter of John, Earl of Tullibardine. She and her husband were infeft in the barony of Baky and in the third part of the barony of Forgandenny 27 July 1597. She was kenned to her terce of Longforgan, when the cavels being cast, the sunny third part fell to her, 27 February 1616. She died at Edinburgh 27 February 1618, her executors being her sons James and Frederick."
