The 1851 census for Edinburgh St Cuthbert's recorded Agnes Greenhill, a carter's wife, living at Weaver's Close, 6 Semple Street. The household consisted of Agnes and her husband, their seven children aged from 2 years to 20 years, and two lodgers: James Sandilands, a journeyman blacksmith, and Robert Anderson, a carter. Agnes was recorded as 40 years of age and had been born in Edinburgh. 2


Ann married William GREENHILL on 1 October 1830 in Saint Cuthbert's parish, Edinburgh, Scotland. (William GREENHILL was born about 1807 in Edinburgh, Scotland 2.)
