LINDSAY, William of Cairney ¹

William was his father's second son, according to the Historical Records of the Leslie Family. However other sources do not include him. Was he a natural son?

David Lindsay, 1st Earl of Crawford, had a brother, William, and a sister, Euphemia, but as far as research goes his brother, William, did not have a daughter called Euphemia.

Yet another information source who does maintian Lord David had a son called William calls him William of Rossie, though, in itself, that is less important than whether he existed at all!
