  General Notes:

"George Seton, 3rd Lord Seton and 1st to be called of the name 'George'. Succeeded his grandfather while a minor - he was created a Peer of Parliament in 1448. He is mistakenly called 1st Lord Seton since he was the first Seton Lord in succession of the name of 'George;, after John, 2nd Lord Seton. He was one of the commissioners for settling differences on the marches appointed by the treaty of Nottingham, 22 Sept. 1434, founded the Collegiate Church of Seton, endowing it for the support of a Provost, six Prebendaries, and two singing boys."

George married Margaret STEWART, daughter of John STEWART Earl of Buchan, 'Earl of Ross' and Elizabeth DOUGLAS. (Margaret STEWART was born about 1416 and died before 1461.)

George next married Christian MURRAY, daughter of William MURRAY of Tullibardine, Sheriff of Perth and Margaret GRAY, before 8 January 1458(1459).1 (Christian MURRAY was born about 1436.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Sir William (who was retoured heir to his father in 1461) is also said to have had a daughter, Christian, wife of George, Lord Seton, but as the marriage took place before 8 January 1458-59, she could not have been daughter of this Sir William."

from Scots Peerage (vol 1)

Note
It is for the reason above that she has been place here as the sister of the William Murray, retoured heir to his father in 1461.
