Isabella married William Ewart RITCHIE in 1910 in Leith North, Midlothian, Scotland.1 (William Ewart RITCHIE was born about 1890 and died in 1915 in Leith South parish, Midlothian, Scotland 3.)


Isabella next married Henry William RICHARDS, son of Henry William RICHARDS Private Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders and Margaret NISBET, on 28 July 1919 in Whitchester Cottage Hospital, Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland.2 (Henry William RICHARDS was born 22 August 1887 at 4.00 am in 11 West Adam Street, Edinburgh, Scotland 5 and died 10 November 1937 at 2.00 am in 95 Dalry Road, Edinburgh, Scotland.). The cause of his death was lobar pneumonia over 10 days.


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated according to the forms of the Established Church of Scotland. The minister was Andrew E. Wallace and the witnesses were Alfred R. Richards and Rosa Skirving Jameson.

H. W. Richards, the bridegroom, was 31 years old and resided at East End, Chirnside. He was a single man and worked as a postman. His father was deceased.

The bride was Isabella E. Ritchie, a widow of 27 years of age. She lived at 48 Broughton Road, Edinburgh.

The marriage was registered at Duns on 28 July 1919, the registrar being Thomas More. 2
