Margaret married Sir David FALCONER of Glenfarquhar, Advocate, MP, son of Sir Alexander FALCONER 7th of Halkerton and Agnes CARNEGIE.1 (Sir David FALCONER of Glenfarquhar, Advocate, MP was born about 1598.) Marriage Notes: "Sir David of Glenfarquhar, had charter of Mains of Balbegno, in the parish of Fettercairn, 2 August 1627, admitted Advocate before 1630, appointed Commissary of Edinburgh 1634 ; as Deputy for Kincardineshire he consented to the Union with England 27 February 1652 ; was member for said county in the united parliament in 1652, and in the Scots Parliament in 1667. He married Margaret, daughter of Sir Robert Hepburn of Bearford, and had issue." |
