Rebeca married John FORBES 3rd of Invernettie, Jacobite 1715, son of William FORBES of Edinglassie and Elizabeth ELPHINSTONE, on 27 June 1693 in Strathdon parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^{1 2} (John FORBES 3rd of Invernettie, Jacobite 1715 was baptised on 20 March 1670 in Strathdon parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ⁴ and died in 1716.). The cause of his death was gunshot in Jacobite uprising.
