Note: The various wives and respective offspring in this series of John Gordons of Park are complicated in their relationships and timeline, but the attribution in the above quote of Elizabeth Graham as mother of Johne appears to be erroneous. It may be that Elizabeth Graham was the third John Gordoun of Park's stepmother at the time of the sasine.


John married Elizabeth GRAHAM, daughter of George GRAHAM 5th of Claverhouse, Burgess and Guild-brother of Dundee and Mariot FOTHERINGHAM, 11 July 1661(contract).1 (Elizabeth GRAHAM was born about 1635.)

Sr James Gordon fourth Laird of Park and representative of Cairnborrow. His Father the forsd Sr John Gordon third Laird of Park dyed and was honourably interred in his Isle within the Church of Park."
