Margaret married Robert LAUDER elder, of Gunsgreen, Bailie of Tyninghame, son of Alexander LAUDER of Gunsgreen, near Eyemouth and Susanna HOME.¹ (Robert LAUDER elder, of Gunsgreen, Bailie of Tyninghame was born about 1590 and died before 8 June 1647 ¹.)

"And moreover, the said deceased Robert Lauder bound and obligated himself and his foresaids to make good and profitable payment to the said Mr [Robert] and his foresaids of the sum of another 10,000 merks of the aforesaid money, and that at any term of Whitsunday and Martinmas following the deaths of the said deceased Robert and the deceased Margaret Hepburn, his spouse, as is contained at greater length in the said contract and appointment of the date aforesaid."
