Colin married Mariote CAMPBELL.1 (Mariote CAMPBELL was born about 1358.) Marriage Notes: "Sir Colin Campbell of Lochawe, is styled son and heir of Gillespick Campbell of Lochawe in a charter to his father by Christina, daughter and heiress of Dugald of Craignish, of part of the barony previously belonging to Alexander MacNaughtane, dated 16 August 1361. He had a further charter from this Christina for the lands of Craignish, dated 11 November 1361 and had succeeded his father by 13 January 1393-94, when he had a charter from Duncan Campbell of Ederline for the lands Innernyden, in the barony of Strachur, then on 20 June 1404, he had a charter under the Great Seal of King Robert II. for lands in Cowal, which had belonged to John Stewart of Ardgowan. |
