Marriage Notes: "1639, Aug. 11 - George Gordon of Nethermuir as Sheriff Depute executed at Auchleuchries a commission, whereby Marjorie Gordon, wife of James Ogilvie of Auchleuchries, renounced her rights to the Mains of Auchleuchries in favour of her son-in-law, John Gordon, then of Auchleuchries (Ibid. ii., 478)." |
