George married Elizabeth LESLIE, daughter of Sir John LESLIE 6th of Wardis, 1st Baronet and Elizabeth GORDON of Newton, Lady Leslie.1 (Elizabeth LESLIE was born about 1612 and died in France 2.) Marriage Notes: "Elizabeth (Leslie) married first to Sir John Gordon of Cluny. They went to England during the Civil War. The Earl of Huntly went to the castle of Tillyfour, 24th May 1644, and took possession of certain bonds and of the rents in their name. Elizabeth Leslie was married, secondly, to Colonel Sir George Currier." |
