Susan married Sir John OGILVY 10th of Inverquharity, 1st Baronet, son of Sir John OGILVY 9th of Inverquharity and Matilda FOTHERINGHAM, 6 October 1615(contract).1 (Sir John OGILVY 10th of Inverquharity, 1st Baronet was born about 1589.)
Marriage Notes:
"At Meigle on 6 October 1615, his (John Ogilvy's) father Sir John entered into a contract with John Haliburton, natural son of James Haliburton of Pitcur for the marriage of his son John Ogilvy apparent of Inverquarity to Susanna, the lawful daughter of John Haliburton.[2 Dundee City Archives Protocol Book of James Wedderburn 1610-1622 fol. 25v and 27] The young laird of Inverquarity married Susanna but this marriage proved short as Susanna died on 20 January 1621."
