Marriage Notes: ".... he (David Borthwick) was appointed Advocate to James VI. on 15 October 1573 and acquired the lands of Lochill in the sheriffdom of Edinburgh, by conjunct charter of 5 June 1550 to himself and Marion Blyth, his wife." |
