From Oliver Cromwell he (George Hay of Killour) had a charter confirming a charter, dated 26 March 1656, by James, Lord Tullibardine, in favour of himself, Sir Andrew his son, and John, son of the said Sir Andrew. He acquired the lands of Killour in 1626, married Isabel, daughter of Patrick Cheyne of Esselmont, and widow of Patrick Hay of Megginch, and had issue..."
