Marriage Notes: "About 1581, Margaret married the elderly Archibald Dundas of Fingask. The Constable of Dundee granted to Margaret together with Archibald Dundas and and James Gray in Longforgan her son a Subscription on 4 Apr 1582 would receive 1100 merks to be paid at the Parish Kirk of Dundee together with a letter of Tak for space of 19 years for redemption the yearly duty for first 3 years of 40 merks and the next 16 years of 23 bolls wheat 23 bolls beir and 10 capons which was the annualrent by umquhile John Scrymgeour Constable of Dundee to umquhile Patrick Gray of Baledgarno under reversion.
