Elizabeth married Thomas OGSTON of Kirklands of Fettercairn, Bailie of Lanark, son of John OGSTON of that Ilk, 'Lord of the barony of Crags and Glenylefe', Bailie of Irvine and Unknown.1 (Thomas OGSTON of Kirklands of Fettercairn, Bailie of Lanark was born about 1430.) Marriage Notes: "He (Thomas Ogston) possessed the lands of Newbiggin and the Kirkton Mill of Fettercairn, or at least one half of them, it does not clearly appear which. He also owned the lands of Tilquhilly and Mallemuk in Banchory Ternan, and left them to his younger coheiress Janet. |
