"His (Alexander Lindsay's) wife's name was Marjory, whom he married before 1410, but her parentage is unknown. She is mentioned in a charter of the Earl founding a chaplainry at Dundee 23 April 1429, endowed from the lands of Westerbrichty. They had issue : 1. David, third Earl."
