Elizabeth married Sir John SINCLAIR of Herdmanston and Polwarth, son of Sir John SINCLAIR of Herdmanston and Margaret SINCLAIR.1 (Sir John SINCLAIR of Herdmanston and Polwarth was born about 1358.) Marriage Notes: "Sir John St. Clair of Herdmanston, the eldest son, resigned the barony of Cessworth to his brother Sir Walter 1375/76. From Margaret Stewart, Countess of Mar, he had a charter of all her lands in Kymergham, dated at Tantallon 2 January 1378, which was confirmed under the Great Seal on 9 May 1429. He witnessed a charter by George Douglas, Lord of the fee of Angus, circa 1393-97. He married Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of Sir Patrick Polwarth of that Ilk, and with her obtained these lands.
