Elizabeth married Sir John CAMPBELL 4th of Cawdor (Calder), son of John CAMPBELL 3rd of Cawdor (Calder) and Mary KEITH, 13 September 1627(contract).¹ (Sir John CAMPBELL 4th of Cawdor (Calder) was born about 1576 and died in 1653 ².)

Elizabeth (Douglas), married (contract dated 13 September 1627) to John Campbell, fiar (see Note below) of Cawdor, and had issue. She was dead in 1640."

"Between 1627-1636, Sir John Campbell took a 2nd wife, Dame Elizabeth Douglas, daughter of William, Earl of Angus whose brother was created 1st Marqis of Douglas - she was granted a contract for maintenance in 1636, money for her and two daughters. She was still alive in 1641, but dead before the end fo 1642."
