Anne married John ELPHINSTONE 2nd Lord Balmerino, son of James ELPHINSTONE Lord Balmerino and Sarah MENTEITH, 30 August 1613(contract).1 2 (John ELPHINSTONE 2nd Lord Balmerino was born about 1589 and died 1 March 1649(1650) 2.). The cause of his death was apoplexy.

"He (John Elphinstone) married Anne, daughter of Sir Thomas Ker of Ferniehirst, sister of Andrew and James, Lords Jedburgh, and Robert Earl of Somerset (charter to him and to her as his future wife, 30 August 1613), and by her, who died at Edinburgh 27 February 1650, and was buried at Restalrig, he had a son John, his successor."
