This John Panton was probably the son of Alexander Panton mentioned above, as younger of Pitmethan." John married Barbara OGILVY, daughter of Sir Walter OGILVY 3rd of Boyne, Provost of Banff and Christian KEITH.1 (Barbara OGILVY was born about 1536.) Marriage Notes: "Alexander Ogilvy .... married .... Barbara, daughter of Sir Walter Ogilvy of Boyne .... who was married, secondly, to John Panton of Pitmeddan" |
