"John (Ogilvy) married Isabel Ogilvy in 1541 at which time he was heir apparent of Inverquharity. They were granted lands in conjunct fee. John Ogilvy of Ballinsho the uncle of John granting them the eastern half of the lands of Easter Ballinsho on 10 November 1541.[1] On the same date his father granted them conjunct fee of the lands of Little Migvie and the eastern part of the lands of Ludinch. [2]
