Alexander next married Elizabeth DOUGLAS, daughter of David DOUGLAS of Cockburnspath, 7th Earl of Angus and Margaret HAMILTON, after 7 December 1593.^{1 3} (Elizabeth DOUGLAS was born about 1555 and died in 1637.)
