DUNPHAIL


"James Dunbar of Dunphail" was listed in the will of John Hay of Lochloy who died 1640 (page 337 Family of Rose, quoting Shaw). This may be the designation he went by, after Tarbat passed to George Munro. 4


James married Margaret MONRO, daughter of George MUNRO of Meikle Tarrell and Tarbat, 7th of Milntown and Margaret INNES, in December 1616.1 (Margaret MONRO was born about 1600.)
