Instrument narrating that John Vaus of Lochslin protested that the interruption made on his houses, buildings and cornfield lands on the east side of the lands of Lochslin nearest to the lands of Arkboll, by William Dunbar, son of James Dunbar of Tarbat, Mr. John Ros (Ross) of Lytill Tarrell, James Corbat (Corbet), portioner of Arkboll, and Nicolas Ros of Pitcalny, should not prejudice him. The inhabitants of the said lands gave evidence that the possessors of the lands of Arkboll had never any right or claim to the said lands. Notary - William Fresser (Fraser)."
