Elyne married Adam HEPBURN Master of Hailes, son of Sir Patrick HEPBURN Lord Hailes and Unknown, 2 February 1448(contract).¹ (Adam HEPBURN Master of Hailes was born about 1437 and died in 1479 ¹.)

"Elyne or Helen, married, first (contract 2 February 1448), to Adam Hepburn, eldest son of Patrick, Lord Hailes. Sir Alexander Home had an acquittance from Patrick, Lord Hailes, of all sums due by reason of the marriage of his son Adam to Elyne, daughter of Sir Alexander, dated 3 February 1460-61. Elyne or Helen Home had a numerous family by the Master of Hailes, who died in 1479 ; she married, secondly,
before 15 July 1480, as his second wife, Alexander Erskine, son and heir-apparent of Thomas Lord Erskine, without issue."

Elyne next married Alexander ERSKINE 3rd Lord Erskine, 15th Earl of Mar, son of Sir Thomas ERSKINE 2nd Lord Erskine, 14th Earl of Mar and Janet DOUGLAS, before 15 July 1480.^{1 2 3} (Alexander ERSKINE 3rd Lord Erskine, 15th Earl of Mar was born about 1438 and died before 10 May 1509 ³.)
