Beatrix married Sir Alexander KEITH, son of Sir William KEITH of Hythie, 4th of Inverugie and Janet DUNBAR, 12 October 1501(contract).1 2 (Sir Alexander KEITH was born about 1477 and died by 1518 1 3.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Beatrix, contracted to Alexander, eldest son of Sir William Keith of Inverugie, 12 October 1501. Both portions of the indenture signed and sealed interchangeably are preserved in the Slains Charterchest. She died before 1505, and there was no issue of the marriage, if indeed it ever took place."

from Scots Peerage (vol 3)

Marriage
In the Indenture of 1501 [45], Alexander Keith was engaged to be married to Beatrix Hay, daughter of William Hay Earl of Erroll, 16 days later, so it seems likely the wedding took place.

In a decree in 1505, Beatrix Hay had died [48]. The decree says (I think) that Sir Alexander Keith & Beatrice Hay had had children who would have been their heirs (implying that they did not survive). This also confirms that Alexander Keith & Beatrice Hay must have been married.
