Marion married John LINDSAY 3rd Lord 'Out With The Sword' Lindsay of the Byres, son of John LINDSAY Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Daughter STEWART, by 8 November 1495.1 (John LINDSAY 3rd Lord 'Out With The Sword' Lindsay of the Byres was born about 1438 and died by 5 November 1497 1.)

"JOHN, third Lord Lindsay of the Byres, 'John out with the sword,' succeeded his brother, and had precept from William, Bishop of Aberdeen, on behalf of the Archbishop, for infefting him, as heir of his brother, in the lands of Ochterotherstruder, Kirkforthar and Latham on 25 January 1491-92. On his own resignation he had a charter under the Great Seal to him and Marion Baillie, his spouse, of the lands and barony of Byres, the lands of Dene, etc., on 8 November 1495... He married Marion, daughter of Sir William Baillie of Lamington who survived
him, and married, secondly, before 1503, Robert Douglas of Lochleven."

Marion next married Sir Robert DOUGLAS of Lochleven, son of Sir Henry DOUGLAS younger, of Lochleven and Lugton and Elizabeth ERSKINE, before 1503.2 (Sir Robert DOUGLAS of Lochleven was born about 1438 and died on 9 September 1513 in Battle of Flodden Field, Northumberland, England 2.)

"Robert Douglas of Lochleven ... married ... thirdly, before 1503, Marion, daughter of Sir William Baillie of Lamington, and relict of John, third Lord Lindsay of the Byres... By his first wife only he had issue."
