Elizabeth married Reverend Mr William CHALMER minister of Boyndie parish, son of Alexander CHALMERS of Cults, Provost of Aberdeen and Jean LUMSDEN.1 (Reverend Mr William CHALMER minister of Boyndie parish was baptised on 24 November 1583 in Saint Nicholas parish, Aberdeen, Scotland 3 and died in February 1671 1.)

"William Chalmer, born 1593, second son of Alexander C. of Cults, Provost of Aberdeen ; educated at King's College, Aberdeen; M.A. (1617); adm. before 20th June 1620; in 1645 his goods, gear, and books were carried off by Montrose's soldiers; was a member of Commission of Assembly, 1647 and 1649; died Feb. 1671. He marr. Elizabeth, daugh. of William Chalmer, min. of Skene, and had issue William, min. of Fettercairn; James, min. of Paisley ; John, min. of Peterhead ; Patrick, min. of this parish; Isabel, who fell under censure ; a daugh.
