BAIRD, George of Glenarthill

George married Elizabeth KEITH, daughter of Gilbert KEITH Pittendrum, then of Troup and Elizabeth FORBES.¹ (Elizabeth KEITH was born about 1533.)

  Marriage Notes:

"He (Gilbert Keith of Troup) is said to have died without issue, but at his death in December 1537, he left a son, George, who was still a minor in 1553, and a daughter, Elizabeth, contracted in 1548 to George Garden of Durlathers, whom she did not marry, and in 1550, to George Baird of Glenarthill."
