Both of her parents were deceased. Medical Notes: Henry Ballantine was the informant of the death of his mother, Jane Porteous, before the registrar at Kirkland, Morton, on 25 December 1858. 5 Jean married Gilbert BALLANTINE, son of Thomas BONNATINE and Agnes RENWICK, on 9 December 1808 in Lochmaben parish, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.1 2 (Gilbert BALLANTINE was born about 1785, died on 4 May 1856 in 27 New Street, Thornhill, Dumfriesshire, Scotland 9 and was buried in 1856 in Penpont Churchyard, Dumfriesshire, Scotland 9.). The cause of his death was exhaustion over 1 month.5 |
