https://www.clanmacfarlanegenealogy.info/genealogy offers a birth year for Anne farquharson of 1679, even though the same site states that her maternal grandfather Alexander Arbuthnot, 4th of Findowie's birth year was 1658 and that he married Margaret Lindsay in 1679. Clearly this is an oversight, and the year 1679 or 1680 is more likely the year of birth of Margaret Arbuthnot, daughter of Alexander and mother of Anne. ²

Anne married Alexander FARQUHARSON 1st of Monaltrie (2nd family), son of Alexander FARQUHARSON 7th of Invercauld and last of Wardhouse and Elizabeth MACINTOSH. (Alexander FARQUHARSON 1st of Monaltrie (2nd family) was born about 1675 ² and died on 1 February 1737.)
