Elizabeth married Robert ARBUTHNOTT 3rd of Findowrie, son of Robert ARBUTHNOTT 2nd of Findowrie and Margaret GRAHAM, by 9 November 1641.^{1 2} (Robert ARBUTHNOTT 3rd of Findowrie was born about 1617 and died in 1693 ¹.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Robert, his heir. He married Elizabeth Rait, daughter of William Rait of Halgreen, who on 9 November 1641 is designed his betrothed wife. They had a large family, at least six sons and six daughters, most of whom seem to have died young."

"Elizabeth who married David Arbuthnott of Findowie in Angus (she died in 1593 or December 1595 and her husband in 1602) and had four daughters and a son Robert Arbuthnott (married to Margaret Graham, daughter of Sir William Graham of Claverhouse), who himself had a son called Robert Arbuthnott who married on 9 Nov 1641 Elizabeth, eldest daughter of William Rait, the eighth Laird of Hallgreen, (they had six boys and six girls)"
