"Robert (Gordon).(by second marriage); baptised February 19, 1777, witnessed by Robert Gordon, Newseat, who was the brother of Patrick Gordon of Cults. He went to Madras and joined his uncle Hugh in business. He died in India, February 27, 1818 (Information from Mrs. Wilson)."
