Mary married Henry LUMSDEN of Auchindoir, Advocate, son of Harry LUMSDEN of Belhelvie, Advocate and Catherine McVEAGH, on 10 March 1840 in Keir parish, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.¹ (Henry LUMSDEN of Auchindoir, Advocate was baptised on 16 July 1784 in Saint Nicholas parish, Aberdeen, Scotland,⁴ died on 26 June 1856 in 255 Union Street, Aberdeen, Scotland ⁵ and was buried in 1856 in Kildrummy Churchyard, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ⁵.). The cause of his death was Atrophy from obstruction of the thoracic ducts of 21 months accelerated by slight pneumonia in right lung during 6 weeks.
