Auchenreoch, or Auchinreoch is a hamlet in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland near Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch.

Note 2:

"There is a chain of records showing Henry Kincaid, second son of John Kincaid of Warriston, holding Auchenreoch in the latter 1500s, and the lands continuing on with this family on till the mid 1700s when it passed to the Buchanans of Carbeth who then became known as Buchanan Kinkaids. The only other Kincaid I've seen prior to this was a reference to a Robert Kincaid in Auchinreoch in the mid 1500s. There was no Robert Kincaid being the eldest son of a Laird of Kincaid in the 1500s. There was only Patrick Kincaid of Kincaid in the very early 1500s, then his daughter and heir, Elizabeth, who married Thomas Kincaid (from the Kincaids of Coates) and then you had successive James Kincaid of Kincaids on till the late 1600s."
