General Notes: "BRUCE Research Notes: "My grandmother was a "rigger" of biplanes during WWI. Those are Sopwith Camels in the one photo. She's standing by the bullseye. There's an arrow at bottom of the other photo that points to her. She's the one holding that long piece of pipe." Medical Notes: The informant of Isabella's death was her son William Nisbet, of 124 Madison Gardens, Midland Park, New Jersey, USA. 3 Isabella married William NISBET, son of William NISBET and Margaret CALDWELL, on 6 May 1921 in Charteris Memorial Church, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (William NISBET was born on 21 March 1894 in 112 Nicolson Street, Newington, Edinburgh, Scotland 5 7 8 9 10 and died on 11 May 1981 in 14 Loganlea Avenue, Edinburgh, Scotland 2 7.). The cause of his death was coronary thrombosis and arteriosclerosis.3 Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated according to the forms of the Established Church of Scotland. George Campbell M.A. of Charteris Memorial Church married the couple. The witnesses were John Bogg and Catherine Dickson Bruce. |
