Marriage Notes: In November, 1608, Thomas Burnet resigned his lands of Craigmyle, Pitmedden, and the Mill of Craigmyle into the hands of the Earl of Huntly, superior, in favour of his daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, James Burnet, on their marriage. They had sasine on the 9th of the same month, reserving the liferent of half to Thomas. |
