Another name for John was FRAILL, John.9 10 General Notes: The 1901 census for new Monkland parish, Lanarksire, recorded John and Helen Fraill [sic], and their three small children, living in Airdrie at 23 Kippen Street. Robert, 7 years old and Margaret, 3 years old, had been born in Calderbank, as had their mother Helen, aged 37 years. One year old John was born in Coatdyke. John Fraill senior had been born in Oakley Fife. He was aged 42 years and was an iron turner. John married Helen WHITE (DNA Link), daughter of John WHITE (DNA Link) and Margaret CLARK, in 1893 in Eastern District of Old Monkland parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Helen WHITE (DNA Link) was born on 2 October 1864 in Calderbank, Old Monklands parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland 10 11 12 and died in 1953 in Auburn, New South Wales, Australia.) |
