With her lived her four children, Thomas, Margaret R., William and Sarah. Margaret was a dairywoman. In the household was a Margaret Cairns aged 19 years, and born in Liberton. Margaret (Johnstone) Adams was the widow of James Adams and James was the brother of Margaret Cairns' mother Rebecca Adams. Margaret Cairns was a servant. Research Notes: WEST COATES FARM EDINBURGH Medical Notes: Thomas Adams, Margaret's son, of 25 Downie Terrace, was the informant of her death. 3 Margaret married James ADAMS, son of Thomas ADAMS (DNA Linked) and Sarah McMILLAN (DNA Linked), on 30 November 1870 in St John's Street, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (James ADAMS was born about 1842 in probably County Armagh, Ireland 4 and died on 14 May 1888 in Wester Coates Farm, Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland 2.).
