Her abstracted Register of Marriages entry reads: "Gartshore (Garshore, Gartschore) Mr. James, late minister at Tranent; Janet Chien, widow of Mr. Walter Magill, late minister at Paisley, 21 Jun 1696 , m. 03 Jul 1696."
