John married Evorilda HAMER on 15 April 1790 in St Mary's, Rochdale, Lancashire, England.1 2 (Evorilda HAMER was born about 1770.)


  Marriage Notes:

"He (William Fraser) left that property equally between his two daughters ..... Besides these daughters there were two sons - George, who became a prosperous merchant in London, and John, who entered the army, saw much active service, was knighted, and died Governor of Chester Castle on 14th November, 1843, aged 83. He married Evorilda, daughter of James Hamer, a Lancashire landed proprietor, and besides three daughters - Catherine, Evorilda, and Eleonora - had one son, William James, who ultimately succeeded to Park, which had been bought from his sisters at a price far exceeding its actual value, and had been willed to him by his uncle, George Fraser, who died 8th August, 1838."
