House of Forbes names Rachel, daughter of John Forbes of Invernettie as the wife of John Forbes 3rd of Invernettie and states that a sister Rebecca died unmarried, whereas the parish register names the third laird's wife as 'Rebeca'. They have been switched, then, on this site. 1 2
