John married Margery AUCHTERERNE co-heir of Auchtererne before 18th February 1506.¹ (Margery AUCHTERERNE co-heir of Auchtererne was born about 1480.)

  Marriage Notes:

"The first Skene of Auchtererne we find on record is I. John Skene, who married one of the two co-heirs of Auchtererne of that ilk. On 18th February, 1506, there was a charter to John Skene and Margery Auchtererne, his spouse, one of the daughters and heirs of John Auchtererne, and the heirs of the marriage; whom failing, the nearest and lawful heirs of the said Margery, of the half of the lands of Auchtererne, with the half of the Blackmill."
