Egidia married Thomas KINNAIRD 4th of that Ilk, son of Alan KINNAIRD 3rd of that Ilk and Unknown.1 (Thomas KINNAIRD 4th of that Ilk was born about 1401 and died by 12 May 1438 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Thomas de Kinnaird, the son, died before 7 May 1440.(see Note below) He also married a Murray in the person of Egidia Murray, the heiress of Culbin, co. Forres, and of half the barony of Naughton in Fife. They had issue : 1. Alan, who succeeded. 2. Thomas of Skelbo, ancestor of the Kinnairds of Culbin. 3. John, married Margaret Mowat, and died before December 1494, leaving two daughters. 4. Mariota, married (contract 12 May 1438) to Alexander Skene, younger of that Ilk."

Memorials of the Family of Skene of Skene the author says:

"James Skene of Skene .... had, by his wife, a son, Alexander, who succeeded him, and who was marriageable in 1438, as on the 12th of May in that year, Egidia de Moravia, domina de Culbin, in her widowhood, with consent of Alan of Kynnarde, her son and heir, grants to Alexander Skene, son and heir of James Skene of that ilk, on account of the marriage to be contracted between him and Mariot of Kinarde her daughter, the lands of Dulpoty, Estertown, and Mill of Dulpoty, in the Barony of Culbin, and Sheriffdom of Forres, in security of the sum of £100 Scots,"
