Anne married William CRICHTON-DALRYMPLE 5th Earl of Dumfries & 4th Earl of Stair, son of William DALRYMPLE of Glenmure and Penelope CRICHTON Countess of Dumfries, on 2 April 1731.^{1 2} (William CRICHTON-DALRYMPLE 5th Earl of Dumfries & 4th Earl of Stair was born about 1700 and died on 27 July 1768 ⁴.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Anne, born 17 January, baptized at Methlic 26 January, 1709, married, 2 April 1731, to William, Lord Crichton, afterwards Earl of Dumfries and Earl of Stair. Lady Anne died in Edinburgh, 15 April 1755, without surviving issue."
