Margaret married Andrew FRASER of Kinmundy and of Muchalls, 5th of Stoneywood, son of Andrew FRASER of Kinmundy and of Muchalls, 4th of Stoneywood and Margaret FORBES, about February 1538.1 2 (Andrew FRASER of Kinmundy and of Muchalls, 5th of Stoneywood was born about 1519 and died before 3 July 1563 2.)

"Besides his son who was killed at Pinkie, this Alexander Irvine of Drum had two daughters-one married to the laird of Balbegno, and the other to Fraser of Muchalls, predecessor of Lord Fraser."

"Andrew (Fraser), the eldest son, styled 'of Stonywood,' had, as mentioned above, a grant from his grandfather of the principal estates in 1535, and was retoured his father's heir in Kinmundie 17 October 1549. He died before 3 July 1563. He married Margaret Irvine, 'natural and lawful' daughter of Alexander Irvine of Drum, to whom he, being under age, with consent of his curators, granted a liferent charter of Watertoun and Weltoun, 15 February 1537-38."
